BESICORP - EMPIRE ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT OF ENERGY MARKET ANALYSTS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE KINGSTON, NEW YORK - Besicorp-Empire Development Company, LLC announces the engagement of RDI Consulting, a division of Financial Times Energy, to perform consulting and advisory services regarding power plant market analysis and pricing forecasts to support its $680 million integrated recycled newsprint manufacturing and combined-cycle cogeneration power facility to be located in Rensselaer, New York. This integrated facility will generate 500 MW of electrical power and produce over 330,000 metric tons of 100% recycled newsprint per year. RDI Consulting brings to the project significant expertise in analyzing energy markets, forecasting fuel prices and electric demand and other consulting services throughout the United States including New York. In addition, RDI Consulting has in-depth knowledge on deregulation of electricity and is widely recognized by financial institutions for their high level of industry knowledge.
